A quick tour of Sydney and the Blue Mountains

The week and a half after Melbourne was work, with a couple of quick visits with relatives, and then we raced up to Sydney to meet another niece and her friend, who flew down for a short break with us.   We spent a leisurely afternoon wandering around Watsons Bay.

When I suggested the Blue Mountains I didn't know it was on Jess' bucket list, so she was excited to tick that one off.

The girls flew out at 2pm on Friday, so that didn't leave a lot of time for a morning activity... so I thought a quick stop at Bondi for fish and chips might be fun since it's not too far to the airport from there. Turns out Bondi Rescue is Dree's favourite TV show, so she was super happy!

Back to the city

We decided to use Ellie's last day with a trip back into the city. We took the bus in and the focus was to be food and photos. We started with some food at the South Melbourne Markets. We didn't get a photo of the baklava... it disappeared too quickly.

We went back to introduce Dazz to the amazing prawn dumplings, and when we saw they had duck and vegetables we just couldn't resist... it was almost as good as what we used to have in Vietnam!

The bubble tea shop was a convenient place to recharge our phones:)

And then we hit the lane ways (interspersed with a couple of shopping centres and general streetscapes) for some photography... [warning... this post is LONG and in no particular order!!!]
