Nannup

We had a pleasant lunch and short walk at Nannup.

Golden Whistler

Our camp for the night was Willow Springs Davies Camp on the Bibbulmun Track. We walked a couple of kilometres, but the light wasn't great for photos.

This emu happily wandered around the campground. 

East of Bridgetown a car towing a trailer passed us. The trailer wheels went off onto the shoulder of the road and showered us with rocks. We couldn't see any chips... until we stopped!

We're booked in to get it fixed in Albany on our insurance.

Kendenup

With school holidays starting and some marking to do we wanted to find an out-of-the-way economical place to stay for a week. There is a small Agricultural Grounds campsite in Kendenup with powered sites, which fit the bill nicely. It was also not far from some national parks so we planned some walks in between work. We didn't have to go far to find wildflowers, though, as they were all around the camp area.
