Talyuberlup

We were feeling good after the Granite Sky Walk, so the next day we set off for the western part of the Stirling Ranges and the Talyuberlup trail. We had to stop a couple of times for photos of the range and reptiles on the road.

While not imposing like Bluff Knoll, we could see the track going straight up the mountain.

The first part was only a gentle rise, and there were quite a few flowers.

There were also a few skinks around.

We were hoping to get above the vegetation for some photos, but there was really only one spot part way up where there was a slight clearing. Dazz made the most of it with some panos.

After going a little further he decided the steps were a bit too steep to be comfortable with cameras hanging off him, and that he didn't want to go any further. I was still keen to go to the top, so he said he'd amuse himself with photography while I kept going.

The track was even more steep near the top and involved a bit of scrambling.

The view from the top was worth the effort.

Bluff Knoll is in the background.

Dazz was tracking me and saw when I was at the top!

While I was gone Dazz took more flower photos and managed to catch a few birds.

One the way home we stopped to take in the views back to the ranges with the sun on them from the west.
