We took a day between 'hiking days' to check out attractions in Alice Springs. We only made it as far as the Alice Springs Desert Park, and spent the whole day there. They had areas for different types of desert habitat with labelled plants and great aviaries, including some that were walk-in.
We had a great time finding all the different birds, and of course taking photos of them! Here is a selection of the best ones.
