Making the most of our unexpected time in Rocky

We had seen all the things within walking distance of the caravan park, so with our car back we could broaden our horizons this past weekend. On Saturday afternoon the cloud was beginning to clear so we drove up Mount Archer and did the short work around the lookout.

On Sunday we went out to the Capricorn Coast National Park to give the car a good run and make sure everything seemed okay. We started with the loop around Bluff Point and really enjoyed the coastal scenery.

We then drove up to the Double Heads section and did the walk to the lookouts up there.

On the way home we found a dirt road so we could also check that low range was all working as it should. Everything seems fine, so hopefully that's the last of our car troubles for a while!
