A very belated catch up!

When I looked at the blog I realised I hadn't posted anything all year! Not that we've done much travel this year, but I thought I should put the photos up from Cotton Tree in February before we go up again in six weeks time... The sunsets aren't this good every night, but we never get tired of sitting by the water just in case it's a stunner.

We also had some exceptionally good meals... courtesy of the reduced to clear stickers at the supermarkets. One of our Cotton Tree hobbies is to walk to the supermarkets most evenings to see what we can score😉

Even though there are no photos we did make the most of the water. We enjoyed some long kayaks up the Maroochy River on the days when the wind and tide were right (about once each week) and we had a number of swims. This is the only wildlife photo:

Our only other trip away for the year was to Maidenwell for a few days in June. Dazz had a work retreat at the Bunya Mountains on the Thursday/Friday, so we decided to take the van to Maidenwell and he just drove up to join the team during the days.
