The Otways

We had a beautiful drive through the country.

 Then a lovely walk in the forest.

There were quite a lot of trees down from the wind the week before - even across the path in some places.

 

 

Little Aire Falls - then only lookout was at the top and the sun was behind them... they were a photographic disappointment, even though they were really nice.

The sun's in the wrong place in winter to get any colour, but the silhouettes are nice.

 And back again the next morning to get some colour.

Then we had hail... but we were too worried about whether it was going to get bigger and do damaged to even think about getting the camera out.  It didn't last long, but it was still windy and overcast.

 Then there were showers...

 ... and then sleet.

And the wind...  This isn't bad photography - the ground is in focus, it's just that the wind in the bushes was crazy!!!

 Didn't stop the photographer though.
