Our almost three months in Toowoomba was occupied with uni work, seeing friends and family, preparing for our trip to Western Australia and helping Mum and Dad downsize.
We arrived home to Dazz's self-watering pots still bearing mini capsicum and silverbeet, which gave him much joy!
The back of our truck received a major makeover. The previous shelves came out of Dad's old vehicle and our old Jackaroo, so they weren't an optimal fit. The base had framing for batteries that we weren't using, which restricted what could be packed and where, and the legs for the shelf also reduced storage space. The redesigned shelves involved brackets screwed into the internal panels (which we wouldn't have done on a new truck!) and have resulted in far more useable space.
