When we came to WA in 2016 we went past Keep River National Park, but couldn't spare the extra days without phone coverage, or the time in our tight schedule. This time we have Starlink, so we can now work from anywhere, and my research confirmed it was definitely worth a couple of days. We camped at Goorrandalng and did the walk from there the first afternoon.
Sunset on the rocks was quite pretty.
The next day we did the walk at Jenemoom.
On our last full day we did the walk at Jarnem. On the way we noticed a flock of Red-tailed Black Cockatoos, so Dazz went hunting.
The walk started across a swampy plain (fortunately we had bug repellant in the backpack!).
As we got closer there were hints of the formations to come.
While we ate we waited for the Silver-crowned Friarbird to show itself.
At the end of this walk there was also a rock overhang and more art.
Most of these bird photos were from around our campsite. They weren't very good at cooperating by sitting out in the sun on low branches!
White-bellied Cuckoo Shrike
A mystery bird
On our way out of the park we stopped at Ginger Hill and Cockatoo Lagoon.
