Shark Bay

Driving up to Denham we stopped at Shell Beach.  All of the 'sand' is actually small cockle shells.

One of the bays further north.

We drove up to Cape Peron.  Most of the track was sand, but it also skirted some clay pans.

The colours at the Cape were stunning.

This wildlife didn't disappoint us either.  We saw a few dolphins...

a dugong...

a shark having a buffet lunch in a school of fish...

and a sting ray.

We also stopped for an echidna and a bearded dragon on our way home.

Monkey Mia is famous for the dolphin feeding, and although it was a very pleasant little beach, we decided not to pay the entry fee.
