Waroora Station

We had planned to snorkel again when we arrived at this beach-side camp, but the wind was just too strong.  It turned out to be a good thing, though, as I spent the afternoon getting ahead with my uni work and Dazz went investigating along the beach with his camera and found lots of interesting sea creatures, and an Osprey.

The wind had dropped by the morning so we got in the water fairly early.  What looked like coral bombies a short distance from shore turned out to be patches of sea grass... which is why we saw a turtle from the shore the day before.  It was quite pretty watching the grasses flow with the swell and there were schools of small fish, but no turtles or brightly coloured fish.
