Geike Gorge

We arrived at Fitzroy Crossing early, hoping to be able to put the kayaks in to Geike Gorge.  With so many waterways containing saltwater crocodiles, it was a treat to be able to paddle up this gorge, which only has freshies.  It was even better because we didn’t have to share it with anyone else!  The cliffs had some overhangs and caves that were interesting to explore too.
